This is the first episode that Herve Lavandier took over as the series' main composer to replace Hugues Le Bars. The Opera stage was reused in the season 3 episode Oggy and the Magic Shoes.

The credits theme is what Dee Dee sings rather than the Oggy and the cockroaches theme. The song that Dee Dee sings is the Toreador March, which is also the opening of Carmen. The song that Jack sings is Don José's Aria. The original variation's name is a reference to an album by Queen with the same name. And thus the episode ends, with the squad of the cops are still singing the song. Meanwhile at the Animville Police Department, a squad of cops were watching the opera and follows Dee Dee's singing, but for Oggy and Jack (plus the Piggy Bank replica), whom they're in the cell, Oggy is doing some tenor moves but he had to be quiet with Jack (but only stopped episode ends in remake). Later, Dee Dee is now the new performer of the Opera and he sings a song. Thus leaving Oggy and Jack being arrested for unknown reasons (possibly being accused of robbery). Oggy sees several backgrounds moving (due to Joey and Marky controlling these), and he goes to find and stop Dee Dee, but when Oggy is almost going to fall, he clings on the platform but Dee Dee cuts the rope that has the Piggy Bank hanging with that rope and it fell, thus hitting Oggy and then it gets tossed straight by a banana to the point it hits Jack when he finished his performance and they were thrown to the outside of the Opera, and crashed into a nearby Bank. Oggy, now on the topp of the stage goes to stop the phantom, and when Oggy is standing on the top of the rocket it fell to the stage along with him and when the rocket launches it hits the moon. Oggy tries to stop it but it's too late after Dee Dee cuts it and then Dee Dee cuts his toenails to the point the background crushes Jack, Joey and Marky are laughing about it. With Oggy in the backstage, he is worried that Dee Dee is going to beat Jack by dropping the cruise ship background scene by cutting the rope. While Jack is performing, he is annoyed by Dee Dee's loud noise and he stops after Jack knew about it, then Dee Dee goes up. When Dee Dee attempts to distract Jack's performance, he becomes the "Phantom of the Opera", and brings down a scene of a woman on the top of a building, and when the woman's head goes to Jack, he sees a dynamite under her head and he tossed the head to the backstage, in which it explodes and Oggy is burnt. When Dee Dee came to the stage while Jack is about to perform, he shows him a poster of the opera duet starring Jack and Dee Dee, but Jack ignores the request and brings Dee Dee to outside, to the point the latter is sad that he can't perform, but Joey and Marky calms him down. In the stage, Oggy announces that the Opera will start soon, and he went to the backstage where he sees Jack is doing some performance training, but when Oggy does the performance training, his opera singing skills is poor and Jack shut his mouth up.ĭee Dee from the ventilations looks at the poster and he is curious about it, then he really wanted to become an opera performer just like Jack. The episode begins with the night at the Opera.
